Give this girl a tent wedding on the water, and I’m happy as a clam. Add in a couple who so clearly adores each other and makes each other laughs, and I am head over heels! Christina and Sebastian were married at Christina’s parents’ home in Gloucester, MA which an outdoor reception at the Castle Manor Inn, and from start to finish the entire day was perfection.
As kids, my sisters and I grew up hearing the most wonderful stories about the cross-country road trip my parents took on their honeymoon in the ’80s. Every few years, we’d pile onto their bed and watch slideshows projected on the bedroom wall of the photos they took as they adventured through the country in the back of my dad’s old work van.
Sometimes you meet a couple and instantly notice how well they complement one another – and in this case, Ashley + Justin are 100% that couple. When I first met them to discuss coordinating their April wedding, I was instantly struck by how confident, cool, and collected Ashley was, and the way that Justin looked at her with so much love. I also noticed how comfortable Justin made Ashley feel, and how much he made her laugh.
If this Charleston wedding had a theme, it would surely be “love at first sight”. Not only did Chelsea and Paul fall head over heels for each other when they first met, they also chose their venue, Cannon Green, after simply seeing it via a Skype call with Paul‘s sister while she was there for an event. This Florida-based couple hopped on a flight to Charleston and instantly fell in love with the entire city. And I am so glad they did!
The second you meet Kelly + Greg, the first thing you’ll notice is how they make each other laugh. The second thing you’ll notice is how incredibly sweet they both are! And the third thing you’ll pick up on is how much their friends and family absolutely adore them.
I feel like this past week has been a dream… a really, really wonderful whirlwind of a dream. That’s because exactly one week ago I officially launched my very own little business, Kelly Golia Events.
Pinch me.
